Not much, a little busy with my new college life. :D
How are things going? Are you taking art AP?
:iconcry-murder:
I'm fine, I'm taking IB art, but Mrs. Koyasu isn't there anymore, she left =(
So now Ms. Lee is teaching us
So, what are you studying in college?

Haha, yeah, I was sad when she told us few months ago. I think Ms. Lee is a nice teacher as well, and I'm sure you can get a lot out of her instruction just like you would if you have had Koyasu. :D

I'm currently taking English, Art History, Japanese, and Anthropology in Moorpark. (No art!!! XD) However I'm thinking about taking figure drawing next semester with Jazmine (she was in IB last year.)

How's your IB art going? Have you decided your concentration yet (or theme?)
:iconcry-murder:
I want my concentration to be Dreams, just because It can be abstract XD

so, what are you majoring in?

Ummm I am not very professional either,
but I usually use light-weighted color for the light part,
and use heavy-weighted color for the dark part.

[link]
For example, in this rose I used:
yellow (light)
orange (mid-light)
red (midden)
brown (mid-dark)
and a little bit of black. (dark)

Also, using complementary colors to shade would definitely help.

Practice makes perfect. :)

how do i know whenn to use light or dark pens? cause sometimes i saw some works that even the darker part they used lighter colors to mix the shadings... hehe sorry lot of questions.. but thanks for a really big help!
